Relax Comfortably & Improve Your Health

Relax comfortably in the gentle, soothing, and therapeutic heat of an infrared sauna.
The sun produces infrared heat naturally—an infrared sauna is designed to allow you to get the benefits of the sun without the negative effects of ultraviolet rays! Our bodies are able to absorb nearly 93% of infrared rays and use them for energy. Unlike traditional saunas—which heat the sauna bather by heating the air to extremely harsh temperatures—infrared saunas heat the sauna bather directly. Many people report feeling energetically rejuvenated and balanced from contact with infrared waves.
The list of health benefits linked to infrared is quite amazing!

Relaxation

Infrared heat helps balance your body’s level of cortisol—the primary stress hormone that makes you feel tense, irritable, and anxious—so you feel relaxed and happier!
By decreasing your stress levels you are also decreasing your chances of getting ill by up to 90%!
The soothing, therapeutic heat also helps the muscles to relax and decreases tension throughout the body. This helps you sleep better too!

Effortless Cardio – Lose Weight Easily!

A 30-minute sauna session may be equivalent to a 2-3 mile jog in terms of cardio, burning up to 300 calories!

Infrared heat raises the body’s core temperature. As the body works to cool itself, there is an increase in heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate—just like when you exercise. The body burns calories in order to keep up with the increase in heart rate, resulting in weight loss from just sitting down and relaxing!

Detoxification

Sweating is the body’s natural way of ridding itself of harmful toxins such as chemicals and heavy metals. Infrared rays heat your body directly by penetrating up to 3 inches into your tissues, joints, and muscles. The result is a deep, detoxifying sweat at the cellular level, where years of toxins have accumulated. Ridding yourself of harmful toxic build up will leave you feeling revitalized, boost your immune system, and allow you to absorb more nutrients from the food you eat!

Increase Energy – Reduce Fatigue

Studies show that infrared therapy recharges mitochondria—the powerhouse of the body’s cells. So by relaxing in an infrared sauna you are recharging yourself on a cellular level! The result is an increase in overall energy and stamina!

Improve Circulation & Oxygenation

As your body temperature increases your body works to cool itself. One way it does so is by causing the blood vessels to dilate. This allows more blood to flow through the blood vessels, to the surface of the skin, where heat can be lost to the air.

Increased blood flow causes increases in circulation and allows more nutrients and oxygen to be delivered to all of your body’s tissue to help them heal.

It has been found that blood flow rises from a normal 5-7 quarts per minute to as many as 13 quarts per minute. This equates to a heart rate increase of 25 or more beats per minute in an infrared sauna.

Improve Heart Health

Infrared saunas increase your heart rate. Over time, the heart becomes more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. It begins pushing out more blood with each beat, allowing it to beat slower and lower blood pressure, preventing heart disease.

In addition, as your heart is exercised regularly, your heart gets better at pulling oxygen and nutrients from the blood. Allowing your heart to work better under stress and increases stamina.

Infrared saunas have also been found to help patients who have heart arrhythmias and suffer from chronic heart failure.

Lower Blood Pressure

Just like with regular physical activity, sauna use over time makes your heart stronger. A stronger heart can pump more blood with less effort. If your heart can work less to pump, the force on your arteries decreases, lowering your blood pressure.

Lower Cholesterol

Increased heart rate increases your levels of HDL cholesterol— the “good” cholesterol that lowers heart disease risk by flushing the artery-clogging LDL or “bad” cholesterol out of your system. Clogged arteries contribute to the most common cardiovascular diseases such as heart attack, angina and stroke.

Relieve Pain & Inflammation

Infrared sauna sessions can relieve anything from minor muscle aches and joint pains, to chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia. The deep penetrating heat relieves inflammation by increasing circulation and relaxing your muscles.

Quicken Muscle Recovery

An infrared sauna session allows you to sweat out lactic acid so you can recover from working out faster! It also increases blood flow, bringing more nutrients and oxygen to all of the tissues within the body helping them to heal!

Skin Beautification & Elasticity

Increased circulation brings fresh nutrients to the surface of the skin and sweating cleans out pores. The result is clearer, softer, and healthier-looking skin!

Infrared heat also stimulates collagen and elastin production. This improves skin elasticity, which prevents and improves wrinkles. It also helps get rid of stretch marks and cellulite.

Your skin will feel younger and healthier!

Flexibility

Increased collagen and elastin improves muscle flexibility. Stretching after an infrared sauna session will show long lasting effects with your flexibility!

Improve Immunity

Not only do infrared saunas improve immunity by removing toxins, but also a 30-minute infrared sauna session can fight off various sicknesses and diseases by temporarily increasing the body temperature, acting as a fever. This increases white blood cell production to help fight off free radicals and illnesses.

Infrared saunas also help prevent illness by decreasing stress. Stress weakens the immune system and causes 90% of illnesses.

Warnings

In the rare chance you begin feeling any pain or discomfort, your skin begins to feel clammy, or you start to feel tired or nauseous when using the sauna, exit the sauna immediately to avoid heat exhaustion or a heat stroke. Drink plenty of water to avoid.
