- For your first float please arrive 10 minutes early.
- Do not consume caffeine or nicotine for at least 4 hours prior to floating.
- Eat a small meal 90 minutes prior to floating (just so you are content, not starving and not stuffed).
- Do not float for at least 3 washes after dying/coloring hair (wait until the water in your shower runs totally clear), same for self-tanning products.
- Do not get a massage that uses oils right before floating. It is too difficult to remove all of the oils in a quick shower before your float.
- For a 60 minute float, set aside at least 1.5 hours for your appointment.
- Do not shave/wax/exfoliate the day of your float; the salt may irritate those areas.
Other Ways to Float:
Choose to customize your float by listening to music off your own device or with one of the various color therapy lights. Claustrophobic? No problem! Just float with the pod door lifted open.
Regardless of floating style everyone will experience the benefits of floating right away! However, it is important to remember that floating is a process and it is different for everyone. Some people experience more benefits faster than others. It may take up to three floats to get used to the environment and idea of floating, but once you do the benefits are endless!
How Often to Float:
As with any therapy regular use will enhance the benefits. Stress, tension and pain have formed over time and will take time to heal. Floating is a relaxing, fun, and effortless way to do so!

For these reasons, we encourage guests to return to floating more than once, and to receive sessions on a regular basis to maintain their benefits.
What To Bring
- We supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, earplugs, Vaseline (to protect cuts), and a blow dryer.
- If you wear contacts, you may want to bring a case and solution.
- A brush, if you have long hair.
- Any hair products, make-up, make-up remover, deodorant, etc. needed for getting ready after your float
When To Cancel
- If you have large open skin wounds, infectious/contagious diseases.
- Menstrual cycle.
- Yeast infection.
- Or any other serious medical condition.
- Consult your physician before floating if you are currently under physician care for any condition
If you are unsure it is always best to get it cleared in writing by a doctor first. We want floating to be a safe, sanitary, and beneficial experience for everyone who floats!
